Demi Lovato, Get her look!

Demi has recently been photographed wearing this fabulous outfit at a performance, and I don't know about you but it reminds me a lot of M's outfit from Wednesday in London, and although M''s outfit was not styled on this photo both outfits are a great choice for Summer!

One of our very first post's was to do with Denim jackets and how they never seem to wear out of fashion. Demi is really rocking her jacket.

A sleeveless denim jacket like the one that Demi is pictured in above can be purchased
from New Look for £14.99. The denim jacket is a light denim material therefore will not add a lot of warmth resulting in it being perfect to wear through out the hot summer days! ( We are being optimistic and hoping that the sun will stay in the UK!)

The dress above would cost you £20 from the online store Boohoo, although it is of a longer length than Demi's it has the see-through material which you could take up to a size that suits you. The fabulous thing about this dress is that it has a belt already that can pull you in at the waist however if you feel uncomfortable wearing a belt and pulling in your waist as you feel it may accentuate your hips you can remove the belt and allow the dress to be straight covering the belt loops with the denim jacket!

The belt above is £4 from Matalan, the floral pattern adds to a festival feel, we believe this photo of Demi was taken at an outside gig so the festival feel is present.

The accessories are all down to you, get Demi's look but don't forget to add your own unique twist!
Here are a few accessories that you could consider:

On Demi's left hand you can see a range of bracelets, one that stand out to us is the blue one, the first bracelet on the lower of her arm, we found a blue bead bracelet for £4 at Sainsburys which is pictured below. The blue pulls out the blue colour of the denim jacket.
We suggest that you make your braclet collection personal.

Demi's nails are coated in a bright red nail polish. The bold colour is lovely in Summer, you can purchase a bright red such as Essie Too Too Hot at £7.99 from a drugstore such as boots.

Demi is wearing a bold "stone" ring on her right hand index finger. Costume jewelry is brilliant to invest in, they can make an outfit and often the prices of jewelry is very affordable. The ring below is priced at £2 from River Island.

Demi's gold coloured necklace has a thick chain and a bold statement piece at the end, just like the item we have found below! Headphone Jack Necklace

from Asos priced at £20.

Demi's shorter necklace looks to be of a leather material with a large pendant, a vintage necklace may be ideal to invest in for this accessory and with it being leather it should continue to last.

The link to purchase the clothing items online are all below, in the same order that they appear in the post:

Once again - Don't forget that you don't have to purchase the items above from the stores we have recommended, shop around and you may find your own or even have the item at home.

If you have any of these items at home you can create this outfit and once items like this are purchased they are always fabulous to add to create another outfit. If you are a student don't be be afraid to ask about student discounts, many of the stores do them, so its worth it, you're worth it!

Have you liked this "Get their look" post? Who are your style icons? Who would you like us to base our next "Get their look" post on?
Let us know!
We hope we have achieved a post that is based upon an affordable income with £20 being the most priced item.
We believe that Demi's smile just perfects this outfit, a smile carries more beauty than any item of clothing so
dont forget to smile!

June Favourites (B)

Hi Guys,
So June has been such a busy month for me and surprisingly I didn't purchase that much, or I didn't purchase that many items that I love and believe should be included in my June favourites.

I have 2 items of clothing, 1 cosmetic item and 1 accessory for my June favourites, just a short and sweet post.

Although both of these items may not be seen as a "Summer" item, they are my favourite clothing purchase's of June. I found last year that high waisted jeans were incredibly hard to find and purchase when I was in need of them the most, so although these jeans could look lovely with a floaty top or a crop top in the Summer, I have a  feeling they will also become a Winter essential for me. The material also has enough stretch for  comfortable movement throughout the day. They are Jamie Moto High Waisted Jeans from TopShop.

The chunky heel ankle boots were £69.99 from Pavers, they are not something that I would go looking to buy but once I saw them they were a must purchase. Unlike other heels that I own the heels on these boots are very light and do not result in my leg aching from lifting a heavy heel. They are chestnut brown suede leather with strong warmths of red making them rather easy to pair with different outfits.

I am known for "giving in" and experimenting with recommended products. Maybelline Falsies Mascara is one of these products, and I can honestly say that I don't regret the purchase, both myself and M love Benefit - They're Real Mascara and we found that Benefit - They're Real works better on M than it does on myself, however I have found that Maybelline for me has the same effect on my eyelashes that They're Real does for M which is a fabulous result from a highstreet/drugstore mascara at £7.99.

My last item is the Silver ring that I purchased at Camden Market last week in London. (Myself and M have posted daily entries of our week in London below, check them out!) I have been looking for a new ring for a few months and this ring is now situated on my left thumb. I am also a sentimental person and this ring represents the end of college and the beginning of what I hope to be a fabulous Summer before I head off to Uni.

What were your favourite purchases of the month? Do you purchase things in Summer that you know will be best styles for Winter?
Let me know
Have a good July!

London- Friday 28th June

Friday was our last day in London (unfortunately) and it wasn't very interesting at all to be honest with you guys, so this will be a short post!

We spent part of our morning packing, and then we travelled to Victoria on the tube. Our Megabus was at half 4 and literally had 5 hours to kill, so we spent most of our time in Café Nero!

We absolutely loved our time in London and can't wait to go back!

Our recent posts have been different to usual but we thought we may as well update you on what's been happening in our lives! As we have stated we do love being a fashion and beauty blog, however we are going to include lifestyle posts and we hope that the update of our week in London has done the trick.

We hoped you enjoyed it- and if not normal blogging will resume as of now!

What have you thought to our London updates? Do you guys like it as much as us?
Let us know
Till next time

London- Thursday 27th June

Although Wednesday was probably our busiest day in London, Thursday was still pretty tiring- but we battled on, of course.

We started our day off by catching the tube to St. Paul's. We had a nosey around the outside of the cathedral- which is beautiful, and then headed towards South Bank.

Next stop- Tate Modern!

After the Tate we then went (across the wrong bridge and had to go across another bridge further down when we'd realised) along by the London Eye where we had a lovely time seeing all the street performers.

We then headed towards The Houses of Parliament and on to Buckingham Palace!

After having a very tourist-y day we decided to head back to the tube. We then went to a graduate art show in the evening, just off Brick Lane, which had work from students from various universities around England- it was fabulous to look at the different forms of art and especially for M who is taking a foundation art degree. We also had a lovely evening meal at a Thai restaurant with B's Uncle and partner, the best aspect of them living in London is that they took us to see the sights of London that not many tourists do get to experience and it is incredible, just seeing the every day London life, it makes us want to move here so much more!

Today's post is pretty much self explanatory- hence the large amount of photos! We pretty much had a sight seeing day and we loved it- you have to be a tourist in London at some point don't you?!

We hope you enjoyed today's post- sorry it's a few days later than anticipated!

What do you guys think to today's post? Have you been to any of these places? We'd love to hear from you!

Till next time

London- Wednesday 26th June

Wednesday was probably our busiest day of last week- we spent the most time on the tube that day!

First off we visited Notting Hill- I've been wanting to visit there ever since I watched the film a few years ago! (M) and it's safe to say I am completely and utterly envious of anyone who lives there. It's beautiful
We mainly just went along Portobello Road and had a look at the stalls and shops- unfortunately we didn't see the blue door from the film but maybe next time! (for those who haven't seen Notting Hill- it'd be a great investment!)

Our next stop was Camden Market! Whenever people travel to London they always mention Camden, and so we felt like it would be compulsory for us to go to see what all the hype is about! We loved it. The market itself is massive and there were so many stalls selling all sorts of weird and wonderful things! We didn't really buy much from there- although B bought a ring- but it really is nice to just browse.
Word of advice though- try not to make too much eye contact with the stall owners because they persistently try to sell you their products!

Our next stop was Leicester Square! We didn't do much here but we did visit M&M world- there was literally 4 floors of M&M products, strange but great! We both bought some M&Ms for our younger siblings but do be wary when you do a 'pick and mix'. The idea of picking your own colour M&Ms is great but it can soon add up if you accidentally pour too much into your bags!

We then had a quick visit to Covent Garden. We didn't properly look around because by this time we were definitely ready for our teas! We ended up going to Nandos, naturally.

Our last stop of the day was Soho! Like Covent Garden we didn't particularly spend much time here- we were ready for going home- but like the rest of the places we visited, we really liked it and we wouldn't mind going back next time for a drink!

We both really loved Wednesday as we got to visit so many places! It was tiring but most definitely worth it.

Have any of you guys visited some of the places we did on Wednesday? If so what do you think to them? If not, where would you like to visit?
We'd love to hear from you!

Till next time,
Love

London- Tuesday 25th June

So Tuesday was our first full day in London. There were so many things we wanted to do in our week that we thought it would be easiest to plan our days whereby the places we visited were close by to one another so that we could cut wasted time through travelling.

(compulsory quick selfie before we left- B on the left, M on the right)

First stop- Natural History museum!

So we know it may not be deemed to be the coolest thing that two 18 year olds could do, but we thought why not?! (And M really wanted to see the dinosaurs).

We didn't spend too long in the Museum- our main aim really was just to visit the dinosaurs. The Museum is great though and we'd recommend it to anyone interested in Natural history- and with free entry you can't go wrong!
When we had finished our visit around that particular exhibit, we headed to our next stop- Hyde Park!

We couldn't have picked a better day for visiting here as the weather was beautiful! Hyde Park is such a lovely place to visit so we decided we'd have a wander round and find somewhere to have a bit of lunch.

The place we found was called The Lido Bar and Cafe and it overlooked the Serpentine. We both had pizza and it was lovely
We also stopped for a quick ice cream whilst in Hyde Park and then headed to Oxford Street.

We had a quick look around the shops- we couldn't believe how big Topshop and Primark were!- but then we had to get a tube back to B's uncle's as his students had an end of year art show (which was actually very good).
Although we would have like to have spent longer checking out the shops, we'll definitely be going back so we'll be able to have a proper look next time!

Sorry for the late post again guys but we hope you enjoyed our quick update!
Have you ever been to the places we visited Tuesday? If so did you like them?
We'd love to hear from you!

Till next time,
Love

London - Monday 24th June

So one week ago today we were travelling down to our favourite place- London!

After a stressful morning of packing and attempting to make sure we remembered everything, we finally set off from Leeds with what we would soon realise would be ridiculously heavy luggage.

Megabus is great if you're travelling anywhere on a budget, especially long distance journeys. It cost us £10 each for a return journey and it only took us around 4 hours to get to Victoria coach station, so if you don't mind quite an awkward coach journey with loads of people you don't know, then it's definitely worth it!

When we arrived we travelled on the tube to B's uncle's house, had tea and planned for our week ahead!

Our London experience on Monday wasn't anything exciting but with a day of travelling, what did you expect?!

Tomorrow's post will be a tad more exciting, we hope!
Have you ever travelled on the Megabus? If so, where to? Would you do it again? If not, would you ever consider it?
Till tomorrow,
Love,

London - Update

Hi guys!

We are back from a fabulous week in London, and unfortunately, unlike we had hoped, we were unable to  manage to do blog post for you guys every night as we had intended to and previously mentioned. However this means that there will be a post each night this week (Monday-Friday) starting from tonight!

We loved London so much and most definitely do intend to move there.

We did post a few cheeky photos on our personal instagrams so be sure to check them out, there will be many more photos in our blog entries this week.
